The young Blues take on Bradford City in our opening game of the 2022/23 edition of English football's premier youth competition at Kingsmeadow on Saturday lunchtime.

The game was originally slated for a midday kick-off but will now start an hour later at 1pm to allow extra time for the pitch to thaw from the overnight low temperatures.

Ed Brand's boys were beaten semi-finalists last term and last won the competition back in 2018.

Tickets are still available priced at just £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.
