New Chelsea addition Noni Madueke has elected to wear the number 31 shirt for the Blues.

The exciting winger completed his move from PSV Eindhoven two weeks ago today, signing a seven-and-a-half year contract with a club option to extend that by a further year.

Madueke, capped at youth level by England, is a left-footed winger who has excelled in the Eredivisie in recent years, having originally progressed through the ranks at Crystal Palace and Tottenham as an academy player.

He returns to England to boost Graham Potter’s squad and could make his home debut at Stamford Bridge this evening, when our London rivals Fulham make the short journey across SW6.

Noni, who said he was ‘buzzing’ to join Chelsea, wore the No.10 shirt at PSV and now takes up number 31 with the Blues for the remainder of the season.

Keep your eyes peeled to The 5th Stand app and the official Chelsea website for tonight's match coverage, with Madueke potentially making his debut for the club.
