Our third league game of the season takes us to Carrow Road to meet new boys Norwich, and our build-up begins with all the key facts and figures...

Norwich vs Chelsea head-to-head record

Chelsea are unbeaten in 15 matches in all competitions against Norwich, winning 10 and drawing five.

In the Premier League we have won eight and drawn two since our last defeat at Carrow Road in December 1994, when Jamie Cureton and a brace from Ashley Ward secured a 3-0 victory against Glenn Hoddle’s Blues.

At Carrow Road, we are undefeated in our last seven trips in league and cup.

In his playing career for the Blues, Frank Lampard never lost against Norwich, scoring four goals in his eight wins and three draws in all competitions.

Chelsea have lost just two of our last 22 Premier League games against newly promoted teams (15 wins, five draws), although both defeats came against reigning Championship champions; 0-3 v Newcastle in 2017/18, and 1-2 v Wolves last season.
