The Blues' dominant 6-0 victory over Everton on Monday night was our biggest in the Premier League this season – and it also saw Cole Palmer match and surpass landmarks in Chelsea history.

Our six-goal winning margin is the largest achieved thus far under Mauricio Pocehttino, toppling the 6-1 victory over Middlesbrough in January's Carabao Cup semi-final second leg.

The win also extended our magnificent Monday record. The Blues are now unbeaten in ten consecutive Premier League games on a Monday night, a run that stretches back to February 2020.

Chelsea's attacking threat was clear for all to see against Everton and Pochettino's side have now scored in 15 successive Premier League fixtures, the longest ongoing sequence in the top flight.

Palmer starred once again; the England international struck four of our six goals. This haul included a perfect hat-trick – left foot, right foot and head – scored with the opening 29 minutes.

That is the earliest perfect hat-trick scored in the Premier League. The previous holder of the record was Tommy Johnson, who achieved the feat in 38 minutes for Aston Villa against Wimbledon.

By adding a penalty to his tally after the break, Palmer continued to close in on a club record.

Chelsea's No.20 has now netted nine Premier League penalties this season. Only one player has scored more in a single season for the club: Frank Lampard, who netted 10 times from the spot during our 2009/10 title-winning campaign.

Palmer also ensured he became the first Chelsea player to score in seven consecutive home Premier League matches, and he became only the fourth player to net four times for the Blues in the division.

The other three? Club legends Gianluca Vialli, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Lampard, who twice achieved the feat.

Palmer's goalscoring exploits have taken him to 20 in the Premier League this term. He has became just the fifth men's player to hit that figure during a single campaign for the Blues.

And finally, in hitting his first-half treble, Palmer made it back-to-back home Premier League hat-tricks, becoming only the second player to do so.

Didier Drogba is the only other Chelsea player to have achieved this feat, although his two trebles were scored across two seasons. The final day of the 2009/10 campaign against Wigan Athletic which secured the title and the opening weekend of the following season against West Bromwich Albion.
