The Portuguese winger joined Chelsea from fellow Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer of 2024 and has been an important member of the squad ever since, registering 21 goals and 19 assists in 108 appearances across all competitions in his two-and-a-bit seasons at Stamford Bridge. The Arsenal goal at home, it was my first goal in the Premier League. It was a really important one as well.

It felt like a breakthrough and it stayed a lot on my mind because of the lanes – I think it’s called the lanes! – when the fans hit the panels in the back of the stands. I could hear it. The noise was really unbelievable so it is something that will always stay in my mind.

Plus it is a huge thing to score at Stamford Bridge against Arsenal.

Fulham 1-2 Chelsea, Premier League, 20 April 2025

I will say Fulham away because of the importance of my goal in the moment that we took a big step towards qualifying for the Champions League.

I will be honest, after the first half it was really difficult. The fans were not happy as well, we were losing 1-0 away, knowing that it was an important game to get into the Champions League. After Tyrique [George] scored his first goal, you could feel the mentality changed a little bit in the last minutes of the game.

And then the goal that I scored was just... whew. I don’t know what to say! In that moment I just wanted to run like crazy because it was a really important goal. I knew the importance of the goal because we could get the Champions League with that goal, and the way I scored that goal as well as was top!

The Conference League was my first title for Chelsea, and the most important one I had won at the time in my short career. Before I just had one trophy and to win the Conference League was huge.

Plus it was a situation that we felt like if we didn’t win it people would be ready to criticise us, but we did our job and honestly it was really joyful when we won.

This one is an unbelievable one! It was the first one that ever existed of this competition!

I would say in the beginning, everyone would have said the importance of that competition was not that big, but when you are there you realise how important it is. You realise how difficult it is too, because you are playing against the best teams in the world. It is a competition that only happens every four years as well, so the importance of it is even bigger.

When you realise you’ve won such an important competition, it’s a no-brainer that it's one of my favourite moments. It was a crazy feeling! I think the people who were there, they didn’t believe Chelsea could win it, but us as a group we always had that target in our mind and thank God we did it.

The Hull hat-trick was a beautiful hat-trick, to be honest, and it was the first hat-trick of my career so I will never forget it.

I keep the match ball at home in my gaming room, in front of the TV so that every time I look at the TV I have the ball in front of me too, to kind of bring back some good memories for me. It was an absolutely unbelievable moment for me.
