The development squad face Everton as PL2 action returns to Aldershot tonight (Monday), if you can't make the trip the game will be screened live and for free on the 5th Stand App.

As a preview to the clash here's everything you need to know...

Loftus-Cheek to start

Frank Lampard announced in his media conference ahead of tomorrow's FA Cup game that Ruben Loftus-Cheek will be involved in tonight's PL2 game, and will try to play as close to 90 minutes as possible.

Where and when

Aldershot Town’s EBB stadium will host tonight’s game, kick-off is 7pm.

Form

Andy Myers’ men are in good form and made it 17 games without defeat last time out when Arsenal were seen off at Boreham Wood’s Meadow Park - Armando Broja and Billy Gilmour turned around a single goal deficit before half-time to secure another three points for the Blues as we reach the business end in PL2.

How to follow

If you can’t make Aldershot tonight, where admission is priced at £3 for adults and £1 for concessions, the game will be screened live on the 5th Stand App. We all also have team news and live updates on our official @chelseafc twitter account.

Opposition

Everton currently sit in seventh place on 22 points. After winning their most recent PL2 game against Derby County, the Toffees are in decent form. They have drawn three of their last five games, winning and drawing one each. Forward Ellis Simms is the league’s fourth top goalscorer with eight to his name thus far and is likely to feature for our vistors tomorrow.

Last meeting

We travelled to Southport at the end of January in a rearranged fixture where Tino Anjorin scored either side of the break to cancel out Sebastian Quirk’s 33rd-minute opener. Anjorin’s brace was secured by a 62nd-minute penalty but Everton were awarded a spot-kick of their own six minutes later and scored it to see the points shared on the evening.

Chelsea that day Karlo Ziger; Marcel Lavinier, Jack Wakely, Levi Colwill, Henry Lawrence; George McEachran, Jon Russell (Xavier Simons 89); Tino Livramento (Charlie Brown 69), Tino Anjorin, Tariq Uwakwe; Armando Broja

PL2 goalscorers

Tino Anjorin 5, Armando Broja 3, Charlie Brown 3, Clinton Mola 3, Henry Lawrence 3, Billy Gilmour 2, Jon Russell 2 Michy Batshuayi 2, Callum Hudson-Odoi 1, Marc Guehi 1, Marcel Lewis 1, Marcel Lavinier 1, Tariq Lamptey 1, Tariq Uwakwe 1, Thierno Ballo 1, Tino Livramento 1

League Table

In other Academy news defender Levi Colwill, who has started the last three games for the development squad, last week signed his first professional contract with the club. He started in the Youth Cup win on Thursday night at Stamford Bridge, but after being withdrawn early through injury it is unlikely that the 17-year-old will feature tonight.
