Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed he has spoken with Levi Colwill and Noni Madueke, who are both expected to join the Blues on our pre-season tour to America.

The young pair are currently away on international duty with England Under-21s and are preparing to face Spain in Saturday’s European Championship final.

Our new head coach confirmed to the media at his first official press conference that he has spoken with both Colwill and Madueke – and outlined his plans for the duo for the season ahead.

‘Yes, we have been in touch with Levi and Noni,’ Pochettino stated during his press conference at Stamford Bridge.

‘We spoke yesterday with both Levi and Noni. I know Noni from our time at Tottenham, he was with the Under-18s, and although I don’t know Levi personally, I introduced myself to him and wished them both well for the final tomorrow with England against Spain.

‘We are waiting for them to join the team. I think when we fly to America, they will join us.’
