Chelsea Under-21s forward Donnell McNeilly has been shortlisted for April's Premier League 2 Player of the Month award.
The 19-year-old had a standout month in April, scoring in three of our four Under-21s fixtures during that period.
McNeilly began the month on a high by finding the net in our emphatic 4-1 victory against Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge. He then scored his second goal of the month in our final regular Premier League 2 fixture, a 4-2 win away at Crystal Palace, which secured our seeded place in the play-offs.
His third goal came in our first play-off fixture in the round of 16, converting from the penalty spot in the Blues' commanding 4-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers after being brought down in the box.
The forward has been shortlisted for the April Premier League 2 honour alongside seven other players: Everton's Braiden Graham, Newcastle United's Garang Kuol, Manchester City's Divin Mubama, West Ham United duo Lewis Orford and Kamarai Swyer, Nottingham Forest's Jack Thompson and Southampton's Lewis Payne.
The winner will be announced in due course.
