Chelsea Under-21s will face Middlesbrough in the first round of this season’s Premier League 2 title play-offs, with tickets on sale now and free tickets available for season ticket holders, members and under-20s.

With the Premier League 2 campaign split into two stages, the Blues triumphed in the first, finishing top of the standings in the league phase by winning 14 of our 20 fixtures.

However, the overall champion of the highest tier of academy football will be decided in the 16-team play-offs, which begin later this month.

Finishing top of the league stage means we enter the play-offs as the top seed and will play on home soil in each round.

Following the conclusion of this evening’s final league fixtures, Stoke City's defeat at home to Aston Villa confirmed that Middlesbrough have finished 16th in the PL2 table and will be our opponents in the first round of the play-off stage.

The Round of 16 fixture will be played at Kingsmeadow, with full details on the date and kick-off time to be announced in due course. Tickets for the match are already on sale, as below.
