Cobham Next Gen midfielder Reggie Watson has been named Premier League 2 Player of the Month for September following some stellar performances for Harry Hudson’s side.
Watson has enjoyed an impressive start to the 2026/27 season, scoring in each of our opening four PL2 matches. In September, the 16-year-old netted three goals in two games.
Against Arsenal, Watson led by example, bagging a brace to help CNG on their way to a 4-1 victory. He converted his penalty in assured fashion, drilling the ball into the bottom left corner to double the Blues’ lead minutes before the interval.
In the second half of that match, Watson made it 3-0 with a rifling free-kick into the far corner, striking the post on the way in.
Before the international break, Watson played a key role against Fulham. The Blues came out 3-1 victors against the Cottagers, coming back from 1-0 down. Watson put CNG ahead for the first time shortly after the break, dispatching an ambitious shot from distance into the back of the net.
Congratulations, Reggie!
