Sanchez and Estevao were given behind-the-scenes access for the race, which was won in dramatic fashion by Charles Leclerc. Home heroes George Russell and Lewis Hamilton finished second and third respectively.

Estevao was a guest of MSC Cruises, while the Brazilian and Sanchez were invited by Williams Racing to visit the team’s garage and embark on an exclusive pit lane walk ahead of one of the highlights of the Formula One calendar.

It rounded off a sporting weekend for Sanchez, who was a centre court spectator at the Wimbledon tennis tournament in south-west London on Saturday.

The VIP F1 experience was the perfect way for our goalkeeper and Estevao to recharge their batteries and enjoy some elite sport in the flesh before reporting for pre-season training at Cobham later this week.
