Liam Rosenior has confirmed that Estevao Willian will miss today’s clash with Burnley as a precautionary measure, after feeling his hamstring in training on Friday.
The Blues welcome the Clarets to Stamford Bridge this afternoon, looking to secure a big three points in the Premier League following Friday’s victory over Hull City in the FA Cup.
Rosenior has made five changes to the XI today, with Estevao missing out completely and our head coach explained why pre-match.
‘Unfortunately yesterday in the training session, he felt awareness in his hamstring,’ Rosenior said of the Brazilian.
‘At the moment we are scanning it to make sure it’s nothing too serious but he’s unavailable for today’s game and we will see from there.’
