Liam Rosenior pens his first programme notes as Chelsea head coach and Pedro Neto gives an exclusive interview in the matchday publication for tonight’s Carabao Cup semi-final first leg against Arsenal.

We began Rosenior’s tenure with a convincing FA Cup victory at Charlton Athletic on Saturday and he discusses the 'hunger to win' at the club as he addresses the supporters in his first programme column.

'It was one of the proudest moments of my life to take my place in the dugout as head coach at Chelsea Football Club on Saturday night,' he writes. 'However, as I’ve said to the players, it is one thing getting to this club, but what we all want to do is win. That is where our focus lies.'

Meanwhile, Neto comes across as a man on a mission as he frames the task ahead for him and his team-mates.

'It’s been really motivating,' he says of Rosenior’s arrival. 'It’s like he says – it’s a fresh start, it is all about attitude, and because we know what we have within this team, we have to move forward with that.

'We know we have to do better but this is what our mentality is – to do better and better and better. In football people forget really fast but you can make them remember really fast as well and this is what we are trying to do.

'In football things change really fast,' he adds. 'In one moment you are in one place and the next week you are in another. We just have to keep working, keep believing in ourselves and we will do the job.'

Elsewhere in the programme, we look back on George Weah’s brief but bright spell at Stamford Bridge and his subsequent impact in his homeland, Liberia, plus there’s a big slice of Carabao Cup nostalgia and an in-depth look at the opposition as we prepare for a two-legged London derby with a place at Wembley at stake.
