Although only 25 years old, Sandy Baltimore has already achieved a great deal in her career. The left-sided player has made 40 appearances for France, won league titles in two different countries and already has seven winner's medals. But one thing she hasn't done yet is play at the iconic Wembley Stadium.

After spending eight seasons at Paris Saint Germain, and winning silverware on five separate occasions, she joined Chelsea last summer.

Here, she has already collected two winner's medals. Yet there is one thing that Baltimore is yet to do in England; a dream many footballers have from a young age.

‘I've never played at Wembley and I'm really looking forward to experiencing it alongside the team and bringing home the cup,’ she said. ‘I won the Coupe de France with PSG last season which was a great experience.

‘Winning the FA Cup would be great, it would be the second cup win of my first season here. We're going to do everything we can to win, and I can't wait.’

The celebrations after lifting the WSL trophy at Stamford Bridge at the weekend might well be a flavour of what’s to come on Sunday if we overcome our opponents. Yet she knows all-too-well that Manchester United will be no pushovers.

‘Winning the league in my first season was fantastic,' Baltimore continued. ‘We're very happy to be undefeated. It wasn't easy because in England, the matches are difficult every weekend. All the teams are very strong. It was a real team effort.

‘A treble is magnificent. As a player and a competitor, everyone wants to win titles, so a treble is huge.’

Moving from her home country in France and adapting to a new life in England’s capital has not been easy for Baltimore.

But there is a reason why she wanted to really test herself by making the move across the channel.

‘The reason I came to Chelsea was really to get out of my comfort zone,' she explains. ‘To be at a big club, to work with the team, because I knew there were top players here and I wanted to win a lot of trophies with them.’

On Sunday, she is hoping to make it three in Blue already.
