Sandy Baltimore has now reached 50 appearances for Chelsea after coming on as a second-half substitute during our 2-0 win over Tottenham on Sunday afternoon.

The France international was named on the bench for our WSL clash with London rivals Spurs and was introduced as a 63rd-minute substitute by head coach Sonia Bompastor.

Baltimore joined Chelsea in the summer of 2024, making the move from Paris Saint-Germain and signing a four-year contract with the Blues.

Sandy took to life in England immediately, cementing her place in the first team and scoring nine goals and providing six assists in a trophy-laden first campaign.

Making 29 appearances across all competitions in her maiden season at Chelsea, Baltimore contributed to winning the Women's Super League, Women's League Cup and played a starring role in our 3-0 victory over Manchester United in the Women's FA Cup final, as she calmly netted a brace at Wembley Stadium.

Her stellar form had not gone unnoticed, as she was voted 15th at last year's Ballon d'Or Ceremony in her native Paris, and she has continued to thrive in her second season in Blue.

During 2025/26, Sandy has showcased her skill with two stunning strikes against Brighton and Hove Albion and West Ham United in the Women's Super League, and was voted as Player of the Match in our Women's League Cup semi-final victory over Manchester City, as she provided the assist for Wieke Kaptein's goal and made a key defensive intervention at the other end of the pitch.

Baltimore has continued to prove her importance to this Chelsea side, having played in 21 of our 24 matches so far this season.

Congratulations on reaching 50 appearances, Sandy, and here's to many more in the future!
