Having now reached 50 appearances since joining Chelsea at the beginning of last season, Sandy Baltimore continues to go from strength to strength.

The France international played a crucial role in securing our domestic Treble in 2024/25, making 29 appearances across all competitions, scoring nine goals and chipping in with six assists.

That included netting a brace in our 3-0 win over Manchester United to secure the Women’s FA Cup trophy at Wembley Stadium, and Baltimore has continued to impress this season.

Putting in exceptional performances on a regular basis, the dynamic wing-back has made 21 appearances and scored five times already in the current campaign. It certainly seems that playing in the Chelsea blue brings out the best in her.

‘Every single day, I enjoy being a Chelsea player,’ said Baltimore on making her 50th appearance for the club. ‘I’m so happy here, and to play alongside all my team-mates.

‘I feel good, and I feel really confident when I play for Chelsea. I think we have a good team, and we all work hard every day. So, I’m really happy to play with everyone here.’

While the side have suffered some recent setbacks, Baltimore is undeterred. Having achieved such success with the Blues already, she understands the blueprint for getting back on track with plenty still to play for before the campaign draws to a close.

‘We know we have lost two games recently, but the season is not finished,’ she continued. ‘It’s about our mentality now. We need to stay together, work hard every day in our training sessions, improve and stay positive. It’s never easy, we just need to keep going and working every day. It is our objective.'
