Chelsea midfielder Sjoeke Nusken made her 100th appearance for the Blues against Everton on Sunday, playing all 90 minutes in our 4-1 win over the Toffees.
The milestone came as somewhat of a surprise for the Germany international, who hadn't been counting until this point. But when told of the achievement, she was delighted to have passed the marker and relived some of her favourite memories in a Chelsea shirt.
'I'm happy to play my 100th game for Chelsea,' she said. 'To represent Chelsea on the pitch is a real privilege.
'I have great memories on the pitch, especially winning trophies. This is what we play for, of course. And I have such good memories off the pitch with the team, too.
'I didn't expect it, to be honest, because I've been here now for three years, and it went so quickly. It has been a lot of work every single day to get the opportunity to play.'
While Nusken's family reside in Germany, she explained that they have seen many of her Chelsea performances in person, and are understandably thrilled with her career achievements so far.
'I think my family are very happy and proud,' she continued. 'They have been to a lot of my games. They have seen me make my way from Frankfurt to Chelsea.
'Their little Sio is now getting older and playing a lot! So they are really happy about that.'
