Sonia Bompastor has confirmed Mayra Ramirez is available for selection ahead of Sunday's FA Cup final against Manchester United at Wembley Stadium.
The Colombian forward was withdrawn in the match that sealed the Women's Super League title – away to Man United – and was absent for the final two matches of our league campaign, away at Tottenham Hotspur and at home to Liverpool.
However, Bompastor was pleased to confirm in her pre-match press conference that Ramirez is in contention to return at Wembley, and also provided updates on Lauren James and long-term absentee Sam Kerr.
'Almost all the squad is available,' the Blues head coach explained. 'LJ (Lauren James) won't be available for this game, but we have Mayra back fit again.
'Sam Kerr won't be available for the game, so we won't see her this season.'
With the League Cup lifted earlier this season and the Women's Super League title secured, Sunday's contest is an opportunity for the Blues to seal a domestic treble.
A near sellout is expected at England's famous national stadium, which will be a new stage for the newer members of the Chelsea squad to perform on.
Yet Bompastor is confident those with the experience of playing at Wembley – namely our collection of Lionesses – will ensure everyone in the squad is prepared for what to expect.
She said: 'I'm lucky to have many English players in my squad who are used to playing in that stadium.
'I think they have had some conversations together to help players prepare for the game, because being at Wembley can be quite intimidating.
'We had these conversations together, and it will be a huge opportunity for these players to enjoy that moment.'
