Millie Bright, Lucy Bronze and Sandy Baltimore were all rested before last weekend's 1-0 win over Tottenham, but will return to the squad to face Liverpool in the final game of the season at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea have already secured the league title, but want to achieve a positive result in front of our fans that will see us finish the season without losing a single game.

We will do that with some extra weapons at our disposal after the key trio were able to benefit from sitting out last week.

'We'll have Millie, Lucy and Sandy back in the squad,' said Bompastor. 'They were well rested last week.'

One player who will not be available for selection is Mayra Ramirez, as she continues to recover from the problem that saw her replaced by Johanna Rytting Kaneryd early on during the title-winning match against Manchester United.

While the striker will miss the weekend's game, the boss explained Ramirez is still in contention to make the FA Cup final next weekend.

'Mayra won't be in the squad,' the boss continued. 'But she's doing well. She had a session on the pitch today.

'We will continue to build her up for her to be available for the FA Cup final.'

Earlier in the day, Chelsea legend Sophie Ingle announced she would be moving on following the conclusion of her rehab from an ACL injury.

Bompastor took the time to thank Sophie for her service to the club.

She said: 'Sophie has been an incredible player for Chelsea. She is another example of someone who has the right mentality. Unfortunately, she didn't play this season because of her injury, and for me, not having the opportunity to coach her in official games was a little bit sad.

'Sophie is someone who works really hard.
She's a winner, and in pre-season I was really glad to have her around the team because she's also a leader. She gave a lot to this club, so a big thank you to Sophie for everything she achieved with the club and I wish her all the best for the future.'
