Chelsea head coach Sonia Bompastor has provided updates on the fitness of Nathalie Bjorn, Erin Cuthbert, Manaka Matsukubo and Mayra Ramirez ahead of our UEFA Women's Champions League third qualifying round second leg against Real Sociedad.
A place in the league phase of the competition can be secured tomorrow evening at the Estadio Zubieta, and the Blues have travelled to the Basque Country with a commanding 5-2 advantage after the first leg at Plough Lane last week.
Tomorrow's second leg will be broadcast live and for free on the Chelsea Official App and website, and begins at 7pm local time (6pm in the UK).
Bompastor will be back in the Blues dugout after serving a one-match suspension last week, and ahead of the game in Spain, she delivered the latest team news and outlined the mentality with which her side must approach the game.
'The update for this game is that Erin (Cuthbert), Nat (Nathalie Bjorn), Mayra (Ramirez) and Manaka (Matsukubo) are not available,' she said.
'I think for us, we need to approach the game as if it were 0-0. I have enough experience in football to know anything can happen.
'We have a really good team, and the only thing that will stop us from achieving our goal is if we become complacent and we don't approach the game with the right mindset.
'I think that's what makes the difference between the best teams and the good teams. For me, that's really important, and I will probably mention something to the players before the game tomorrow.'
