Sonia Bompastor has confirmed that Nathalie Bjorn and Erin Cuthbert are both unavailable to face Roma on Wednesday night, but the Scotland international may be passed fit to return against Brighton at the weekend.
Cuthbert suffered a blow to the head during the international break and has been going through the concussion recovery protocol, while Nathalie Bjorn was unavailable for the squad that faced Everton last Sunday.
'Nat won't be available for the game tomorrow, and neither will Erin,' confirmed the Chelsea head coach. 'Erin was training on her own today.
'She could be available for the weekend, but probably not for Nat, and we'll maybe give more information later about that.'
Guro Reiten was also absent from the squad that faced Everton, having recently returned from a period of parental leave, but Bompastor explained that the Norway international is back in contention for a place in the side this week.
'Guro will be in contention for the squad tomorrow,' the head coach confirmed. 'She has been back with us for 10 days now.
'As you could see, she was unavailable for multiple weeks, so she needed to build up her fitness. She's now in a much better place, and she's ready to start the game. She's in the squad tomorrow and is available.'
