Sonia Bompastor has confirmed Lucy Bronze and Niamh Charles came through the weekend's win over Tottenham unscathed, and revealed Sandy Baltimore is in contention to be selected once more.

Bronze returned to the side with a short cameo at Kingsmeadow on Sunday after a lay-off that stretched back to the end of the Women's European Championship. Meanwhile, Charles started against Spurs after coming back from an ankle problem sustained against Aston Villa in September.

Sandy Baltimore was unavailable last weekend, but has bounced back quickly since then.

'We have some pretty good news because we have some players back from the weekend,' explained Bompastor. 'Sandy Baltimore is one of them.'

'As you could see, Niamh and Lucy are still in the squad for the game tomorrow, so we are in a good place in terms of having players available.

'I said from the beginning, we want to compete as far as we can in every competition we are involved in. The Champions League is a special one because it's the biggest club competition.
That's also the only trophy missing from this club.

'This is also the reason why it's so special for us, but the competition is getting harder and harder, and we just need to make sure we focus on ourselves. I know we have the quality to go far in the competition, and hopefully we'll show that on the pitch.'
