Saturday will be a day of celebration. The Women's Super League title has already been won and this Chelsea team will finally be able to lift the trophy in front of our fans. But for Sonia Bompastor, the work is not yet complete.
On the surface, it might seem like there is nothing left to play for against Liverpool, but that's not the case for the Chelsea boss and her players.
A win against Tottenham last weekend extended our incredible unbeaten run to 21 games, and no side has ever gone unbeaten for a whole Women's Super League season before.
'We want to stay unbeaten in this league,' Bompastor confirmed. 'I think, obviously we are champions and we are really happy with that, but we now have the opportunity to make history, to become invincible this season.
'It's a great opportunity to be part of history, and in terms of mentality, we just need to make sure we compete for the last game in the league, especially in front of how our fans at Stamford Bridge.
'So we go into the game with this mentality. Probably we could have done things differently. Being champions, we could've just let the two last games go, but that's not possible for us. We want to stay professional and fight until the end.'
For Bompastor, the venue and the occasion will be something special on Saturday.
Playing at the Bridge will allow fans, players and their families to be able to celebrate what has been a huge achievement in her first season in charge of the club.
'When my players play at Stamford Bridge, they just love that stage,' the boss continued.
'They feel home, they play with the support of the fans. The supporters have been incredible all year. When we played away, [they were there for] all the games.
'For us to have the opportunity to face this last game, knowing we are already champions and playing against Liverpool, it will be a really important and a big game for us. Knowing you will be lifting the trophy at the end and celebrating with the fans and our friends and family inside the stadium.
'It doesn't happen a lot, you don't always have that opportunity every season in your career. This is something we need to enjoy to the maximum, first of all focusing on the game to try to win, and then enjoying it all as much as possible.'
While there will be big celebrations on Saturday, there is still an opportunity for us to secure a domestic treble when we play in the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium next weekend.
Keeping one eye on that aim for this season is vital for Bompastor, who wants to make sure her side are focused on sealing that victory at Wembley.
'I think it's important to find the right balance in terms of celebrating, especially when you are champions before the last game,' she said. 'It's really important to make sure the celebrations are the right ones because we still have two games to go.
'They are a really crucial two games because we have two big aims. We want to stay unbeaten, but also we want to win the treble. Neither of these teams will let us achieve that easily, so we need to be ready, we need to stay professional.
'As much as we could celebrate a little bit before, we need to make sure we have the right attitude going into these two last matches.'
