Sonia Bompastor wants her Chelsea side to show the 'right mindset' in our League Cup quarter-final against Liverpool to produce a 'better performance' than in our 1-1 draw with the Reds last month.
The Blues travel to St Helens looking to take a step closer to retaining the League Cup, which we won earlier this year.
Victory would ensure our progression to the semi-finals, but Gareth Taylor's side provided stern opposition last month when we faced them in the Women's Super League.
Alyssa Thompson's superb opener was cancelled out by a goal from Beata Olsson on the counter and, despite having 65 per cent possession, we were unable to turn that dominance into a second goal.
It needs to be different this time around, as Bompastor explained when previewing the contest.
'The game we played against Liverpool in the league was a tough one,' reflected the Blues head coach. 'Liverpool were really well organised in terms of defensive aspects. We probably didn't perform the way we wanted to, and at the level we needed to perform to get the better result.'
Since that draw, our goalscoring form has improved, as we have recorded 6-0 and 2-1 victories in the Champions League over Roma and Wolfsburg, respectively, and last week put three goals past Brighton in the WSL.
Bompastor believes her has has learned from their performance against the Reds last time out, and has outlined what is required if we are to advance through in the cup this weekend.
She said: 'It's more for us to reflect on that and to come into the game on Sunday with the right mindset and the right mentality for us to have a better performance in order to get the right result.'
