After an epic performance in the first leg, centre-back Kadeisha Buchanan gives an extensive interview in which she looks back on what went right in Barcelona and why her Champions League-winning past with Lyon – including a triumph over Barca in the 2022 final – gives her added belief for this huge game.

‘As much as Barcelona play beautiful football and they’re massively talented, they’ve never beaten Lyon – and I was part of that Lyon side,’ she says. ‘That kind of gives me confidence going into a game against Barcelona.

'This team is beatable. You try to spread that throughout the locker room, throughout the team. People have beaten Barcelona. It’s a matter of believing. And we really believed that last Saturday. And we need to have an even bigger belief in this game.’
