Chelsea Women are back at Stamford Bridge to face Manchester United today, and you won’t want to miss the souvenir-edition matchday programme.
There is a special illustrated cover for this issue of the matchday programme, following on from the previous limited editions produced for our WSL games at the Bridge against Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool.
The interviewee for this week's programme is Guro Reiten, who is hoping to put an injury-hit first half of the season behind her to have a similar impact as she did in a stunning second half of the 2022/23 campaign, which earned her a Ballon d'Or nomination.
'To get back there it’s about confidence, training, a lot of things,' she said.
'And, for me, I’ve been out for a while and I think I need some time to get back to full fitness, but you’ve just got to try and you’ve got to believe in yourself. No matter what happens, you have to give everything.
'It was a very good period for me [at the end of last season] and I scored a few very important goals, which was very good.
'But it doesn’t really matter if I’m the one scoring, as long as someone in our team does it I’m going to be super-excited.'
Blues boss Emma Hayes and captain Millie Bright also address the supporters in their exclusive columns, while fans of Mia Fishel and her trademark 'Big Fish' celebration won't want to miss the pull-out poster in this edition of the programme!
