A squad of 22 Chelsea Women players are travelling to France today ahead of our UEFA Women’s Champions League group stage opener against Paris Saint-Germain on Thursday.

The Blues head to the French capital for their first meeting with PSG since the quarter-final victory in 2019, where we progressed to the last four thanks to Maren Mjelde’s stoppage-time winner.

There are two absentees from the travelling squad, with Fran Kirby missing the trip due to illness, while Jelena Cankovic continues her recovery from a muscle injury.

Chelsea are in Group A alongside PSG, Real Madrid and Albanian side Vllaznia and will be aiming to get off to the best possible start with a win across the Channel on Thursday.
