With the thermometer exceeding 30C, Graham Potter and his staff put the players through their paces in the afternoon sunset in the scenic shadow of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the largest mosque in the country.

The ante was upped after a lighter session on Monday, with fitness and ball work the name of the game. Wesley Fofana was back out on the grass following his individual rehabilitation programme, as was Reece James.

Charlie Webster and Cesare Casadei finished the session with an impressive demonstration of their long-distance ball control, which can you can watch in the clip above.

Earlier in the day, the players took advantage of the gym facilities at our training base with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Ben Chilwell and Jorginho among those involved in strengthening work.
