The Blues defender joined the League One side in the summer for his first senior loan experience and made eight appearances in the league for Posh.

In all competitions, Sturge featured 15 times for Darren Ferguson’s side but now returns to Stamford Bridge for the second part of the season.

The defender joined Chelsea from Brighton and featured regularly at PL2 level before moving to London Road at the start of the season.
