Chelsea supporters attending Sunday’s final Premier League match of the season are advised that an advanced search policy will be in place when entering the Stadium of Light. There are also major engineering works affecting train travel between London and the North-East.
For this match, due to the advanced search policy, our hosts Sunderland will not be permitting the following objects into the stadium:
• Coins
• Vapes
• Power banks
• Flares
• Smoke canisters
• Umbrellas
Please note that all coins collected will be donated to charity.
For vapes, power banks, umbrellas and any other larger items, a collection procedure is in place. You can leave your item with Sunderland's steward team before entry. You will be provided with a collection ticket and can return to the same area to collect your item(s) from the steward team after the game.
In addition, Sunderland have a regular list of permitted and not permitted items which can be found here in their guide for away supporters
Rail travel disruption
Due to railway engineering works, replacement bus services will be operating between York and Darlington from Saturday to Monday.
Fans travelling from London to Sunderland by train will be experiencing a journey time totalling approximately five hours 30 minutes, compared to a standard time of three hours 30 minutes.
