Hopefully the easing of nationwide restrictions in the UK will soon allow us all to get back to the football pitch, but in the meantime our weekly feature Coaches Corner Live continues to aid your training and physical activity...
The UK Government may have set out their roadmap for an easing of nationwide restrictions with the resumption of grassroots sports pencilled in for soon, but plenty of young people will continue to be without coaching and training until then.
However, Chelsea FC have the perfect answer to fill your weekend training gaps until the pitches reopen. Coaches Corner Live is a series of weekly live coaching sessions to help young players stay active and maintain their training from home.
Led by Chelsea Academy and Foundation coach Andrew Ottley, the next session focuses on individual skills, technique on the ball and overall fitness.
The best part is that all you need to get involved is a pair of boots, a ball and some markers, although these can be replicated with any safe household objects such as shoes, jumpers or plastic water bottles.
This week's session will be broadcast live on our official Facebook channel at 11am this Saturday 27 March.
After each session, players can continue their development during the week using Perfect Play, the world’s number one football training app, developed with and used by the Chelsea Academy. The app’s technical and physical training drills have been taken directly from the club’s youth development programme.
