Curd will gain further experience of senior football at a higher level with National League side Boreham Wood, during an initial one-month loan.

The England Under-19 international has previously spent time on loan with Hashtag United and Hampton & Richmond Borough.

The 19-year-old signed a new three-year contract with the Blues in April and has been with the club since Under-9s level.

He has been regularly involved for Chelsea Under-21s this season and was among the substitutes for our men’s team when we started our UEFA Champions League campaign away at Bayern Munich.
