It was straight back to Cobham for the Chelsea squad this morning, with recovery work the focus for those who started our victory over Tottenham Hotspur.

A fine display at Stamford Bridge was rewarded with a 2-0 triumph over our London rivals. Trevoh Chalobah opened the scoring midway through the opening period with a fine header and Nicolas Jackson struck in the second period to seal victory.

However, there is little time to celebrate the win with the Blues back in action on Sunday as West Ham United – one place and two points below us in the table – make the trip across the capital.

Those undertaking work in the gym at Cobham this morning included Chalobah, who was voted man of the match against Spurs, and his fellow defenders Alfie Gilchrist, Benoit Badiashile and Marc Cucurella.

Moises Caicedo was also in excellent form against Spurs alongside Conor Gallagher, and both were attempting to refresh their legs ahead of this weekend's fixture alongside Noni Madueke, Cole Palmer, Mykhailo Mudryk and Jackson.

Meanwhile, Levi Colwill and Christopher Nkunku were involved in the gym work while there was the welcome sight of Raheem Sterling back out on the grass as he recovers from a back issue.

We have picked out ten of our favourite photos from today's recovery session, which can be viewed below.
