In mythology, the white lion is the keeper of the land – sacred and rare. Not separate from the pride, but the one that moves on its own terms when it matters most.

The colour white dominates the new shirt, which has a geometric shadow pattern. There is blue trim on the neck and sleeves and vertical red pinstripes. Its theme recalls popular away and third strips of the 1980s and 1990s and prominent on this latest top is a retro Chelsea crest.

For the men’s kit in 2026/27, the shorts are also white, while for the women’s version, blue is the colour. White socks with blue hoops complete the look throughout.
