The Blues will be taking in five matches across four countries as part of our 2026 summer tour, before returning home to conclude pre-season against Real Sociedad at Stamford Bridge, ahead of the start of the 2026/27 Premier League campaign.

Here are each of the stadiums which will be hosting Chelsea matches during the tour, as we touch down in Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Malaysia...

Accor Stadium, Sydney, Australia

Chelsea vs Western Sydney Wanderers, Tuesday 28 July
Chelsea vs Tottenham Hotspur, Saturday 1 August

Originally built as Stadium Australia to host the opening and closing ceremonies, athletics and football at the Sydney Olympics in 2000, it has since also been the venue for the finals of the 2003 Rugby World Cup and more recently the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

This summer it will host the Blues, but it is not the first time we have appeared there in pre-season. The first was in 2015, when a team featuring legends such as Petr Cech, John Terry, Eden Hazard and Diego Costa took on locals Sydney FC, Loic Remy scoring the only goal in a 1-0 win for Chelsea.

Kai Tak Sports Park, Kowloon, Hong Kong

Chelsea vs Juventus, Wednesday 5 August

Opened last year on the site of a former airport, Kai Tak Sports Park is now the largest sporting venue in Hong Kong and the new home of their national football team.

Although it will be our first visit to this stadium, Chelsea did play two games in its predecessor the Hong Kong National Stadium in 2011, beating local team Kitchee 4-0, before a 2-0 win in an all-Premier League meeting with Aston Villa three days later.

Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta, Indonesia

Chelsea vs AC Milan, Saturday 8 August

The stadium was first built to host the Asian Games in 1962 but has had several modern makeovers since, most recently when the Asian Games returned to Jakarta in 2018. It is now primarily used for football, hosting games for the Indonesia national team and local side Persija Jakarta.

It was before that last makeover that Chelsea last appeared at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, producing plenty of goals in an 8-1 thrashing of a BNI Indonesia All-Stars side in 2013, when Ramires and Romelu Lukaku found the net twice each, alongside strikes by Eden Hazard, Demba Ba, John Terry and Bertrand Traore.

Sultan Ibrahim Stadium, Iskander Puteri, Malaysia

Chelsea vs Johor Darul Ta’zim, Sunday 9 August

With a design inspired by the banana leaf, the stadium was opened in 2020 as the new home of Malaysia Super League team Johor Darul Ta’zim - who we face there this summer - and named after the king of Malaysia, Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskander.

Although we have visited Malaysia before, this will be our first time in the state of Johor. Previously we had played in the capital Kuala Lumpur, taking on Malaysia XI sides twice, recording a 1-0 win in 2011 before returning to beat them 4-1 two years later.
