Our England trio of Raheem Sterling, Mason Mount and Conor Gallagher were joined by Thiago Silva in returning to base after a well-earned week off following elimination at the quarter-final stage of the World Cup. England went out to France and Thiago's Brazil were beaten by Croatia on penalties.

It is now just Mateo Kovacic and Hakim Ziyech who have yet to return from Qatar having made it all the way to the semi-finals. Croatia beat Morocco 2-1 in the third/fourth-place play-off yesterday, so it is Kova who will come back to Cobham late next week with a bronze medal.
