Eidur Gudjohnsen, Salomon Kalou and Frank Sinclair are the fresh faces joining the already impressive list of former Blues stars lining up against their counterparts in Liverpool red on Saturday 11 October.

The Chelsea Legends vs Liverpool Legends match at Stamford Bridge will raise money for the Chelsea Foundation and the Chelsea Players’ Trust, which supports the welfare of those who have served the club in years gone by.

Ivorian forward Kalou (pictured top) was one of the famous firsts to bring the Champions League trophy to Chelsea, when he helped defeat Bayern Munich in 2012.

He was also a Premier League winner, just like Eidur Gudjohnsen, the skilful Icelander who was a key player in the back-to-back title wins of 2005 and 2006.

From the generation of silverware winners before then comes defender Frank Sinclair, who in his very last game as a Chelsea player scored in a winning cause at Wembley Stadium. That was in a League Cup final having won the FA Cup the year before.

These new three join a Chelsea Legends squad managed by Roberto Di Matteo that already contains Eden Hazard, Ramires, John Terry, Joe Cole, Katie Chapman, Gemma Davison, William Gallas, Carlo Cudicini, Marcel Desailly, Petr Cech and Gianfranco Zola.
