Chelsea Football Club continues to take proactive measures to clamp down on ticket touting. We have invested in additional resources to enhance our intelligence gathering and tracking to identify potentially fraudulent purchases, and the launch of digital ticketing this season has aided our efforts.

Through these measures, increased monitoring and comprehensive checks, we have identified over 2,000 recent purchases of the UEFA Champions League bundle as being likely in breach of the club’s Conditions of Issue.

In line with our Ticketing Policy, these purchases have been cancelled unless and until proof of identity and address is provided by the account holders. The club has contacted the accounts in question to inform them of this process.

This necessary action taken by Chelsea FC is yet another demonstration of the scale of the challenge all football clubs face. As a club we take ticket touting seriously and will continue to do everything we can to put real tickets in the hands of real fans.
