Chelsea are now in Atlanta, Georgia after taking the short flight across states on Tuesday morning to prepare for our second Premier League Summer Series match, which comes against Newcastle United.

The Blues have spent a large chunk of our US Tour at a base in Philadelphia, but now move on after a two-hour flight for our match with Eddie Howe’s side at the Mercedes Benz Stadium. We will return to Philly immediately after the game.

The Magpies drew 3-3 with Aston Villa in their opening match of the series, while the Blues also took part in a goal-laden game, with first Blues goals for Nicolas Jackson and Mykhailo Mudryk occurring during a 4-3 win versus Brighton.

Our flight was in the mid-morning, before we got some rest ahead of another challenging workout and training session in the evening. We got used to tomorrow's stage by undergoing an open session out on the grass, with the high-steeping sides and the grand roof of the arena providing a brilliant backdrop.

Beforehand, Mauricio Pochettino and Reece James faced the local and English media. The highlights will be available to watch on the Official Chelsea App with Pochettino talking about the captaincy, Conor Gallagher and much more...

You can enjoy some training shots below, as we took in the spectacular Mercedes-Benz Stadium on the eve of our next matchday!

All pre-season tour matches* will be available to watch live and free of charge on the official Chelsea app and the official Chelsea website. Broadcasting for each game starts 30 minutes before kick-off.

(*excludes USA and UK where the Brighton, Newcastle and Fulham matches will be shown on NBC Sports and Sky Sports respectively)
