It was a busy day of training and media duties during the Blues' first full day in Washington, DC.
The Chelsea squad woke up in DC for the first time and were put through their paces in a morning training session on the grass before heading to the gym.
In the afternoon, it was time for head coach Bompastor's joint press conference with the manager of Sunday's opponents Jonas Eidevall, and Washington Spirit counterpart Jonatan Giraldez, with the NWSL side playing a league match against Kansas City Current in the hours before we take to Audi Field.
At the stadium, the three managers spoke to the media with topics covering the London clubs' trip to the United States and why the double-header is a good advert for the women's game.
Our head coach said: 'It is a privilege to be a part of it. Having the chances to be the coaches of such great teams with a lot of talent, and having players who are important and are the best ones in the world.
'It's a great opportunity - the players love that and are looking for that. As coaches it is a great experience for us as well. I feel really lucky to be part of this event. I'm thankful for that.'
While the managers were pitched questions, players Millie Bright and Lucy Bronze were involved in a mixed zone, speaking to news outlets about her time in the United States so far.
