Xabi Alonso knows the challenge his Chelsea side will face at Arsenal on Sunday – and that was reflected in the work the Chelsea manager and players undertook in today's training session at Cobham.
The Blues have made an impressive start to the campaign under Alonso. Premier League wins have been recorded against Fulham and Brighton and Hove Albion, while Luton Town were defeated in the second round of the Carabao Cup.
However, Arsenal will be a different proposition. The Gunners have also begun the season with back-to-back victories in the top flight and have yet to concede a goal.
Alonso conducted his pre-match media duties ahead of the game at the Emirates this afternoon and confirmed a decision on Moises Caicedo's fitness would be made when he selects his matchday squad.
'We will check tomorrow, as tomorrow is the last decision for the squad on Sunday,' the Blues manager said. 'We need to not be worried. These things can happen and we need to check. Tomorrow we will make the final decision.'
