Liam Rosenior had the majority of his squad back together at Cobham following the international break as preparations picked up pace for this weekend’s FA Cup tie.

Many of the Chelsea players have been away representing their nations, but with the last of the international fixtures completed over Wednesday night, most of the travelling members of the squad were reunited with those who remained working at Cobham for Thursday’s training session.

That included the likes of Moises Caicedo, Malo Gusto, Jorrel Hato, Pedro Neto and Mamadou Sarr who were abroad playing international football during the March FIFA window, but are now back in west London and fully focused on domestic matters.

It will be a quick turnaround, with just one more session tomorrow remaining before Saturday’s match, when we host League One side Port Vale at Stamford Bridge in the quarter-finals of this season’s FA Cup, with a place at Wembley in the last four up for grabs for the winner.

Take a look out our selection of the best images from Thursday’s training session, as those preparations to take on Port Vale stepped up a gear at Cobham.
