The manager and his coaching staff are putting the players through their paces ahead of our return to Premier League action on Saturday, when Bournemouth visit Stamford Bridge for a 3pm kick-off.

Marco Palestra and Danny Welbeck were among those getting stuck into the session, with Levi Colwill, Mahdi Nicoll-Jazuli and Wesley Fofana also involved as preparations stepped up at Cobham.

Saturday's meeting with Bournemouth will be the first of five matches in just 21 days for the Blues during October, with three of those fixtures taking place at Stamford Bridge.
