The Chelsea players on our pre-season tour returned to training at Cobham today, where they were joined by their team-mates who reached the final weekend of the FIFA World Cup as well as new signing Pep Chavarria.
That meant the Spaniard, alongside fellow fresh faces Morgan Rogers, Maxence Lacroix, Jordan Henderson and Valentin Barco, got to work alongside all their new team-mates for the first time.
Rogers, Lacroix, Henderson and Barco reported for duty on Tuesday - when those who were on tour enjoyed a well-earned day off.
It was yet another roasting hot afternoon at our training base as Xabi Alonso and his staff put the players through their paces, with attention now turning to Saturday's friendly against Real Sociedad at Stamford Bridge - a game you can be at!
