The Blues made their final preparations for Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League tie with Paris Saint-Germain at Cobham on Tuesday morning, before departing for France.
Our first European knockout game of 2025/26 is fast approaching, as we take on the French title holders at the Parc des Princes in the first leg of the last 16 at 8pm UK time tomorrow.
As always, for the final session before a UEFA fixture, the first 15 minutes of training was open to the world’s media and shown live on the Chelsea Official App and website. However, when open training ended, our camera stayed behind to capture some behind-the-scenes images of Chelsea’s preparations.
This will be the Blues’ second away knockout tie in the space of five days, following Saturday’s 4-2 win at Wrexham in the FA Cup fifth round, with Liam Rosenior overseeing a quick turnaround at Cobham to get the team ready to go again in a massive game against Paris Saint-Germain.
Here are our favourite pics from Tuesday’s final training session before the squad left for the French capital, where Rosenior and one of his players will be taking on pre-match press conference duties this evening.
