The Chelsea squad got back out on the training pitch on Monday to begin preparations for our midweek cup tie.

It was a disappointing weekend for the Blues, as our run of four consecutive victories across all competitions was brought to an end by a painful defeat to Sunderland, following an added-time winner for the visitors at Stamford Bridge.

However, we won't have to wait long for our first chance to bounce back and return to winning ways, as we hit the road on Wednesday to travel up to Molineux for a Carabao Cup fourth-round tie away at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

We beat Lincoln City in the previous round and now hope to book our place in the last eight of that competition, getting back on track ahead of Saturday's Premier League derby at Tottenham Hotspur.

Enzo Maresca was quick to identify where his team need to do better following the loss to Sunderland, and the work to rectify that for the trip to Wolves began on Monday, when his squad was back out on the pitch following a day to recover, ahead of another busy week.

Alejandro Garnacho was among those in action at Cobham, after netting his first goal for Chelsea on Saturday, while Liam Delap continued to work towards a return to the matchday squad following injury. Here are our pick of the images from today's training session...
