Chelsea Women’s trip to Arsenal and home match against Liverpool in January have been moved for TV broadcast in the latest round of selections.

The Blues travel to north London rivals Arsenal on Sunday 15 January in a blockbuster Women’s Super League encounter when football returns after the festive break. This match will now be broadcast live on Sky Sports, with kick-off scheduled for 12.00pm at the Emirates Stadium.

We have not faced Arsenal during the first half of the season, and this meeting between the two teams in the new year has all the makings of a classic to whet the appetite as the second half of the season gets underway.

One week later, we welcome Liverpool to Kingsmeadow on Sunday 22 January in the WSL looking to avenge our opening day defeat at Prenton Park in September. The game will now be shown live on BBC Two with kick-off scheduled for 12.30pm.

The Reds inflicted our one and only league defeat of the season to date on the opening day. The Blues will be keen to avenge that result in front of the television cameras in another enticing encounter on home soil.

Ticket details for these fixtures will be announced in due course.
