Four Chelsea Women youngsters started for England in their first match of the Under-19 European Championships.
Against hosts Lithuania, goalkeeper Katie Cox, defenders Brooke Aspin and Cerys Brown, and midfielder Lexi Potter were named in the starting XI, while Ashanti Akpan was an unused substitute in the emphatic 10-0 win - with Potter scoring England's ninth.
It was 1-0 to the Young Lionesses after six minutes, before their lead was extended to 3-0 by the 14th minute following two quickfire goals in two minutes.
Aspin played her part in the third goal with as she headed on a free-kick whipped into the box, which set Michelle Agyemang up with the opportunity to tap the ball home at the back post.
England made it 4-0 in the 24th minute when the ball bobbled around the box following a corner, with Blues defender Brown unable to connect with it cleanly, before Agyemang scored her second of the afternoon.
And it was 5-0 in the 39th minute and it soon could have been six, but Potter saw her shot on the edge of the box blocked by the Lithuanian defender. Our midfielder had another chance to add to the Lionesses' advantage before the half was up, as she won possession inside the area, before showing some smart footwork and forcing the goalkeeper into a close-range stop.
Only one minute into the second half, Poppy Pritchard of Manchester City scored her hat-trick making it 6-0 to England.
There was another hat-trick, this time for Agyemang as she got her third of the day and England's seventh when she scored from a free-kick in the 55th minute. The set-piece was won by Blues midfielder Potter on the edge of the box.
The Young Lionesses were ruthless and it was 8-0 before the hour mark through Vivienne Lia, before Potter got her name on the score sheet scoring England's ninth in the 67th minute. Our midfielder beat a number of Lithuanian players, dribbling into the box, before burying her shot into the bottom corner.
It finished 10-0 as the ball was bundled home in the dying stages of injury time, as England started their European campaign in terrific fashion by hitting double figures.
Following the comfortable opening victory, up next is a clash against Serbia, who were beaten 3-1 in their opening match against France, on Wednesday (17 July) afternoon.
