Here is everything you need to know ahead of the Blues discovering our Champions League Round of 16 opponents, as well as learning our possible quarter-final and semi-final ties.
Chelsea reached this stage of the competition courtesy of our 3-2 success in Naples last month, which secured a top-eight finish in the league phase.
That meant we avoided a play-off round and instead will meet one of the winners of those ties.
Here is all the information you need on the Round of 16 draw, including who the Blues could face and how our path to the final will also become clearer.
When and where is the Champions League draw?
The UEFA Champions League Round of 16, quarter-final and semi-final draw takes place on Friday 27 February at 11am UK time.
The draw will take place in the House of European football in Nyon, Switzerland.
How can I watch the Champions League draw?
The draw will be streamed live on UEFA.com, UEFA.tv and the official UEFA Champions League app, as well as being broadcast on TNT Sports and Discovery+ in the UK.
We will be bringing you news of the draw as soon as it happens on the Chelsea Official App and website.
Who can Chelsea play in the Round of 16?
Due to the seeded structure of the draw, we know we will face either Newcastle United, Qarabag, Paris Saint-Germain or Monaco in the Round of 16.
Newcastle won the first leg 6-1 in Azerbaijan before Tuesday’s meeting in the North-East. PSG beat fellow Ligue 1 side Monaco 3-2 in the Principality last week and reconvene in the French capital on Wednesday evening.
How are the Champions League quarter-final, semi-final and final ties determined?
As the teams were positioned in the bracket by the draw of the knockout phase play-off and Round of 16, the ties and the order of matches have already been determined by the position of the teams for the draws of the previous rounds.
The teams qualifying from the Round of 16 follow the path of the bracket until the final and, as in the previous rounds, the team in the bottom row of each match pairing will play the second leg of the relevant tie at home.
Should we advance from our Round of 16 tie, we would therefore play either Galatasaray, Juventus, Tottenham, Liverpool, Atletico Madrid or Club Bruges in the quarter-finals.
The winners of the semi-final on the silver side of the bracket will be designated as the nominal home team for the final.
When do the Champions League round of 16, quarter-finals and semi-finals take place?

Quarter-finals: 7/8 & 14/15 April 2026
