We preview this afternoon’s European encounter as Chelsea Under-19s prepare to take on Lille in the final game of Group H in the UEFA Youth League.
After a battling group stage, the Blues are eliminated from this season’s competition and play for pride this afternoon as Valencia close in on a third-placed finish in Group H.

Last time out in the UYL
The Under-19s were on the end of a disappointing defeat against Valencia at the end of November. Billy Gilmour watched his early penalty saved by the home goalkeeper before Valencia took the lead after 19 minutes.
Henry Lawrence levelled the scores just six minutes later but it wasn’t enough as our Spanish counterparts snatched our hopes of qualification 14 minutes from time.
